Hello Accelerator is a global platform launched by Ashoka’s Hello World that is accelerating impact through collaboration to design innovative solutions with and for people on the move.
Why Hello Accelerator? Because the migration field requires a new framework for how migration is perceived globally. Large groups of people are on the move. These migrations are happening more suddenly and across diverse geographies, highlighting the inadequacy of current systems to manage them effectively. National systems are outdated, organizations operate in silos, and there are numerous barriers to meaningful collaboration for faster integration.
Hello Accelerator creates more effective, coordinated, and innovative solutions to support people on the move and foster a more inclusive society.

We meet, and we build
Social entrepreneurs, migrant change leaders, and key leaders from business, policy, and research sectors share their insights and experience and co-create solutions to shift perception of people on the move from challenge to opportunity.
We test
The solutions are put into practice through prototypes as stakeholders develop deeper relationships to scale impact.
Ashoka and IKEA Social Entrepreneurship join forces to catalyze socio-economic inclusion in the field of migration. Together, we bring social entrepreneurs, civil society organizations, business leaders, policymakers, academics, and media together key stakeholders to analyze, build, and implement solutions that drive socio-economic inclusion for migrant talent in Europe and Latin America.
Put me in a room with some of the top policy people, migrant leaders, researchers, a few other social entrepreneurs, mayors and some businesses to think about the field as a whole and how to create collective change. That’s how we really scale the needed impact.
